Your username is your student number in the format: n001234567@iadt.ie and your password will have been emailed to your personal email address. IADT staff should use their smithJ@iadt.ie username and normal password.
0:00 Hi, if you were a new student welcome to IADT and if you're a returning student, welcome back. 0:05 This video covers how to log into the Hub 2.0 on a laptop and a mobile device, including how to set up multi factor authentication. 0:12 Welcome to the IADT Student Hub version 2.0 0:15 This is the central location for all IADT student information. 0:19 This is what you will see as a non-logged in user. 0:22 To login, click on the sign in in orange or sign in in the top right-hand corner of this page. 0:28 On the next page, click IADT staff and student login. 0:32 This will bring you to a sign in Page. 0:34 Your username is your student number and @iadt.ie and if you are a new student, your password will have been emailed to you to your personal e-mail address. 1:00 The first time you sign in, you'll see this page. 1:03 In this next part, you'll set up multi factor Authentication or MFA, so go ahead and press next. 1:14 The next page provides some links to download the Microsoft Authenticator app. 1:17 You can go to the relevant App Store for your device and download it from there to your mobile. 1:22 The next page asks you to allow notifications and to select Work or school if prompted. 1:26 On your mobile, you can go ahead and click Next. 1:28 A QR code will appear. 1:30 Open the Authenticator app on your mobile and then click the icon in blue in the bottom right corner. 1:35 This will open a camera. 1:37 Use it to scan the QR code. 1:39 After a moment, you'll see the account appear in your list. 1:42 After you press Next on the browser, a number will appear. 1:45 Put that number into the notification that pops up on your mobile. 1:48 Click Next under Authenticator Added and that part of the process is complete. 1:57 The Hub 2.0 will then begin creating your profile and this can take a short time. 2:16 Once that is complete, this is the page you'll see. 2:19 We'll continue with the registration process in a video on that page, but for now, let's have a look at what we've done so far. 2:24 On a mobile device. 2:29 You will sign in in the same way by either scrolling down to the orange sign In button or by tapping the three lines on the top right and tapping Sign In. 2:37 From there, the process for setting up MFA is the same. 2:40 Thanks for watching. 2:42 Once you're logged in, you will see the next video of the registration process.
